For all the Scotophiles out there, my Presbyterian friends, Chapel friends and members I commend [the 30 November] worship service from Jerusalem which includes participants from other parts of the world including our own PCUSA ecumenical associate. This is the first time a digital service from The St. Andrew’s Scots Memorial Church, Jerusalem has been made available for St. Andrew’s Day – November 30! Founded in 1919 to honor the Scots who lost their lives fighting for Jerusalem, their constitution states that each year the kirk will offer worship on St. Andrew’s Day. The worship service is @ 50 minutes (spoiler alert – no pipe band, pipe organ only).
May you be blessed by this hour of worship as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the peace of Christ in our own lives.
